Position Summary:
Help achieve Cooperative Federal’s strategic goals through outreach, branding, community engagement, resource development and program evaluation. Organize and implement marketing plans; manage social media channels; and cultivate relationships with members and community partners. Assist with grant applications, reporting and compliance.

Qualifications:
Commitment to the mission of Cooperative Federal. Two or more years of professional experience in marketing, social media, graphic design, grants administration, and/or program administration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Experience with social media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram. Competency in basic graphic design and layout; proficiency with Canva, Adobe InDesign and/or other Adobe Creative software preferred. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

This is a full-time position (approximately 40 hrs/week) starting at $42,500 - $47,500 annually.

Position Summary:
Provide accurate, relevant information to assist clients with solutions related to housing, homeownership, down payment assistance, money management, credit and debt. Deliver one-on-one counseling services through in-person as well as remote appointments and conduct case management. Teach financial education classes to diverse audiences including creating or adapting curriculum as needed. The Housing Counselor must obtain HUD Housing Counseling certification within 90 days of hire, and work toward securing and maintaining professional certifications.

Qualifications:
Commitment to the mission of Cooperative Federal. Two or more years of professional experience in human services, social work, legal services, education, or banking/finance. Excellent interpersonal skills including cultural competency and ability to thrive in a culturally, racially, and socioeconomically diverse environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to make public presentations. Organized with good time management skills. Bilingual Spanish/English (written and spoken) or bilingual fluency in another language preferred.

Position Summary:
Plan, organize, and implement lending activities pertaining to origination, underwriting, and closing of loans. Meet with and counsel applicants; complete loan files in accordance with established policies; disburse funds on approved applications. Monitor loans for lien filing perfections and collateral insurance. Participate in weekly reporting to the Loan Committee and meet with the Loan Commitee as needed. Support collections activities. Actively participate in consumer education & outreach activities including workshops, community events, and sponsored activities (evening and weekend hours may be occassionally required).

This is a full-time position (approximately 40 hrs/week) starting at $40,000 - $50,000 annually.

Position Summary:
By working with colleagues and community partners, this staff member will help Cooperative Federal scale up opportunity lending in the Greater Syracuse Area, with an emphasis on micro loans (under $50,000) as well as small business loans (typically up to $150,000, with occasional larger deals). Originate loans to small and micro businesses by supporting loan intake; analyzing applicants’ financial, project and management capacity; and preparing loan packages and recommendations.nsure effective operations and risk management in Cooperative Federal’s business loan portfolio through post-loan oversight and support, including monitoring portfolio performance and completing Annual Reviews.Collaborate with colleagues and partners on program development, management, expansion, outreach, and strategic planning.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Experience with or knowledge of small business lending, alternative business lending, small business management, economic development, or technical assistance, mentoring or consulting, particularly with micro businesses or self-employed is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in empowering disadvantaged communities and low-income people, and the skills to build new relationships and communicate effectively and enthusiastically about Cooperative Federal. Bilingual is a plus (fluent in Spanish or other).

This is a full-time position (approximately 40 hrs/week) starting at $48,500 - $52,500 annually.

Position Summary:
Greet members, perform teller transactions over-the-counter and by phone, answer member account and financial questions and inform members about credit union services, financial education and asset-building opportunities.

Qualifications:
At least one year of cash handling experience and customer service experience required. Should be enthusiastic about our mission of serving the underserved and working for community development. Must be able to work some Saturdays (9:30 am to 2:00 pm) and until 6:30 pm on weekdays. Bilingual is a plus (fluent in Spanish or other).

This is a full-time position (approximately 38 hrs/week) starting at $15 to $16 Hourly.

Staff Positions:
Rate of pay depends on experience.
