To reduce the spread of illness, we encourage our staff and members to wear masks. At times, masking may be required:
We will be happy to provide you with a disposable mask. Supplies are available at our branch entrances, or a member services representative can help you.
We support our workers' rights to safe and comfortable working conditions. We appreciate your cooperation!
Effective 5/19/2021
Dear Members,
At this time, Cooperative Federal still requires all people to put on a mask before entering our offices or using our ATMs. We're counting on you to help keep our workers and our communities safe by cooperating with this policy!
The Credit Union has taken many precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including air filtration and plexiglass barriers. However, our offices are small and sometimes crowded. Plus, vaccination rates are still very low in the zip codes where our branches are located.
We will be glad to provide you with a disposable mask. There are supplies available at our branch entrances, or a member service rep can assist you.
Individuals who are fully vaccinated are no longer required by NYS to wear masks (with certain exceptions, like hospitals and airports). However, businesses are still permitted to require masks on their premises.
The credit union will monitor COVID-19 risk levels and vaccination rates in our neighborhoods so that we can decide when and if to change our policy.
Until then, we strongly encourage everyone to get vaccinated! All New Yorkers aged 12 and up are now eligible.
If you have questions or concerns, please let us know. Thank you for understanding and respecting these precautions.
Sincerely,
Coop Fed's Management Team
