The 2010 Common Cents nominations period has begun!

Nomination forms are available at any office, or, you can email your nomination to info@coopfed.org. Please include the organization name, a brief description of their activities, and a contact name in your email.

Nominated organizations are placed on a ballot for voting by all the membership. Voting begins at our annual meeting and runs through May.

About Common Cents

Common Cents is a special feature of Cooperative Federal’s VISA Check Card. The purchases made with an Cooperative Federal VISA Check Card generate “small change” for the credit union. Members nominate and vote for favorite nonprofit community organizations to receive awards. Any credit union member can nominate an organization for Common Cents.

The Credit Union gave over $1500 to local non-profits in 2008 through our Common Cents program. Each time you use your VISA check card, the Common Cents fund grows!
