You can join Syracuse Cooperative Federal Credit Union if you or someone in your immediate family or household is a member or is in our "field of membership". The definitions of immediate family and household are limited by regulations.

Immediate Family

Immediate family is defined as a spouse, child, sibling (sister or brother), parent, grandparent or grandchild. This includes stepparents, stepchildren, step siblings, and adoptive relationships.

Household

A household is defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit. This includes any person who is a permanent member of and participates in the maintenance of the household. It includes any person who contemplates or intends some permanency. Foster children, legal guardian relationships, as well as live-in nannies and domestic workers are also considered part of a household. The definition does not include someone who is visiting for a short period.
