Small Business Recovery Grants

Small businesses are an essential part of our local economy. They not only create jobs opportunities, but build community prosperity and neighborhood vibrancy. That's why serving small and micro businesses has been a cornerstone of Cooperative Federal's mission for more than 40 years. 

We're now accepting applications from Member Businesses for the Spring 2026 round of Small Business Recovery Grants! Eligible applicants will be considered for awards ranging from $2,500 to $5,000.

Program Guidelines

• The Small Business Recovery Grant program is open to Small Business and Non-Profits.
• To be considered for funding, the applicant must 
  • be member of Cooperative Federal as of Thursday, May 14, 2026; and 
  • submit a complete application including al required attachments by 11:59 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
• Members that did not receive grant funding from Cooperative Federal in 2025 will receive priority consideration.

The Small Business Recovery Grant (SBRG) Program is funded by the Federal Home Loan Bank of NY. Cooperative Federal will use this application to determine whether our members are eligible for funding under the SBRG Program Guidelines (2026). Cooperative Federal has sole discretion over which eligible applications are submitted for SBRG funding and the amount of funding allocated to each selected applicant. All grant awards are subject to funding availability and final approval from the Federal Home Loan Bank of NY.

• Collect the required documents in Section E. These documents must be attached to your application.
• Review the application questions and collect any other information you will need.
• Plan to complete this application in one sitting. Docusign may not save your progress if you exit.
