Nominees
- Center for Community Alternatives promotes reintegrative justice and reduces reliance on incarceration through direct services, advocacy, and public policy. Programs include career training and job placement.
- House of Psalms 23 is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty, abuse, and incarceration through individual empowerment. Programs include job readiness and financial planning.
- Inclusive Economy CNY empowers small businesses in concentrated poverty areas within the Greater Syracuse community by providing access to capital and skills.
- Interfaith Works of CNY affirms the dignity of each person and every faith tradition, builds racial and religious equity, and creates bridges of understanding. Include workforce and business development.
- Jubilee Homes focuses on empowering residents to turn generational poverty into generational wealth through homeownership opportunities, workforce training, and youth development.
- Urban Jobs Task Force advocates for and with disadvantaged Syracusans for equitable employment and economic opportunities.
- Workers’ Center of CNY empowers low-wage workers to combat workplace abuses and improve wages and working conditions throughout the community.
- WISE Women’s Business Center enables existing and aspiring women entrepreneurs in Central New York to turn their business dreams into thriving realities.

To be eligible, nominees must meet the following guidelines:
- Has non-profit status, or a fiscal sponsor
- Primarily serves the Syracuse / Central New York area
- Did not win a Common Cents prize in the prior 2 rounds
- Has a mission focused on this year's funding priority: Business & Economic Development (2026)
Members can submit multiple nominations.
